HOW I BUILD IT part one:

Compaq AP550 + Pentium 3-S Tualatin (single mode)
Tualatin-S CPU is on FC-PGA2 socket, so adapter toward Slot1 is used (Socket 370 Pin - 242 Contact SEC2 Slot1). I was recommended a PL-iP3/T adapter, marked V:2.0 (slot-T, slocket).
PowerLeap say, that adapters with independent electrical supply, are reliable barier against voltage increasing, caused by capacitor death.
A computer technician told me about adapters, that conductivity between AK4 and AK26 must exist, in order to support Tualatin at all.
Unfortunately, PL-iP3/T FSB AutoDetect (default) settings caused unstable work under XP Pro. So, I established FSB speed select adapter`s jumper at 133MHz. I choose CPU core voltage 1.450-1.475V margin also.
All tests have been proceeded under those circumstances. No interfere with BIOS, by my side.
These low voltages enabled me to use light cooler. Even though CPU temperature are as low as 35°C (95°F), within 20°C surrounding temperature at room. Motherboard achieved 29°C (84°F) - (DVD and *.avi simultaneous play for 1 hour at 55% CPU load). screenshot

Server-class processors had 512 KB L2 cache and were branded as "Pentium III-S". They only could work in dual-processor systems (not those with 256KB).
For the present I was sucessful in single mode and I found system stable and cool. After I put in second Tualatin-S, the AP550 workstation didn`t boot and auxiliary chassis fan increased its rotations.
CPU's are stepping tA1, s-specs SL5PU (not matched pair - distant numb.). Not able to run them together.

Could anyone tell me how to build Compaq AP550 with two Pentium III-S Tualatin processors?
